Senior Digital Design Engineer
Job DescriptionHands-on CMOS digital design engineer will be responsible for all portions of digital design, verification, synthesis, and place-and-route for small to medium-size ASICs. Candidates must have a strong background in RTL coding using Verilog, logic synthesis, timing analysis, and place-and-route.
Responsibilities Include:
- Logic design, simulation, synthesis, and verification of RTL code for mixed-signal ASICs
- Lead the layout team on place-and-route and timing closure
- Work with test team to test, characterize, and troubleshoot new silicon products
- Use programming languages such as Perl and TCL to improve the efficiency of the design and verification tasks
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience
- Experience with entire design cycle from specification definition, RTL coding, synthesis, timing closure, and layout to post-silicon debug and testing
- RTL design and verification skills and experience
- Hands-on experience in synthesis and timing analysis
- Hands-on experience in place-and-route
- Linux operating system administration experience
- Working knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C/C++, Perl, TCL, etc.
